# Cymo

> Cymo is a Belgian specialist in Event-Driven Architecture (EDA) and Apache Kafka. We design, build, and run event-driven systems, combining deep Kafka expertise with independent, vendor-agnostic advice to help organizations shift to real-time architecture.

Cymo was founded by Wim Debreuck, Kris Van Vlaenderen, and Bryan De Smaele to help organizations move from batch-based systems to real-time, event-driven ones. The team covers the full EDA lifecycle: enterprise architecture and governance, landing zone setup, audits and action plans, data product enablement, disaster recovery, and ongoing managed services, with deep hands-on Apache Kafka expertise and close partnerships across the Kafka ecosystem (Confluent, AWS, Aiven, Redpanda, and more).
